Window 7 Compatibility

There has been a trend over the past year of companies approaching Solweb who are looking to streamline the way they do business and reduce the amount of time needed to do basic administration tasks. These companies will often run complex systems that take care of their production and sales side of their business and so there is a lot of data that needs to be processed every day. Sometimes we are able to provide a bespoke EDI application which transfers data between two independent systems, however we have found an increasing number of people wish to do the same for their website.

Our WebPortal application does this job perfectly and had been built to work across multiple platforms including Access Dimensions, Sage and the Award Winning Manufacturing and ERP System 123Insight. We are able to automatically send orders that have been placed on their website to be sent directly into their internal accounts system against the correct customer. If the customer doesn’t already exist in the accounting system we can automatically enter their details so they are ready for repeat purchases either online or via internal sales. We have also been fortunate enough to work with one successful organisation in particular that had big ideas about WebPortal once they saw the potential. Their website is now almost entirely populated from their internal manufacturing system including all products descriptions, advanced pricing structures and a clever and intuitive advanced search. When combined with our CMS package, they are able to have a completely up-to-date website without ever needing to change anything via a web admin.
