Reverie is a highly experienced composite manufacturing company that is able to manufacture bespoke parts, one offs, production runs and repair most composite components. They can provide composite products optimised throughout the design, development and fabrication process. They have been running using 123Insight for a number of years which is where they first heard about Solweb. After an initial discussion is was decided that WebPortal was the ideal solution for their website expansion and so the planning began. The idea of the web sync was of great interest to Reverie and they decided to push it as far as they could and so decided to take the amount of web administration to an absolute minimum.
Rather than have a web administration section where they can manage their product categories, product specification and special offers, this was all pulled from their internal 123Insight system. The WebPortal Sync transfers all of this data, including related components direct to the web ensuring they automatically appear on the site.
However, the level of integration isn’t just limited to the data going up to the web server, but also with what information is being passed back to their system. Existing customers can log on and have all web orders automatically appear against their account, but the advanced customer registration feature was also included. This means than anyone can go onto their site and make a purchase via a SagePay integration payment process without the need for prior registration. These new customers will then have a customer set up for them inside the 123 system, and will then have the new order placed against this account for a completely seamless integration.
