DataBridge is a tried and tested system that bridges the gap between multiple systems using an Automated Data Transfer service to detect changes and move information in a structured format. It is essentially an EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) service with a simple web front end to provide you with feedback and control. DataBridge can be used to transfer information between your local management system to your customer facing website to ensure stock and customer information is up-to-date, as well as ensuring any new orders are automatically picked up and created locally. This ensures your customers have access to all of your latest information but also reducing the need for duplicate entry and removes the risk of data entry errors from occurring.
DataBridge can also be used to transfer data between multiple local systems including Accounts, CRM and Manufacturing Systems to maintain a consistent flow of data. DataBridge has been designed to be flexible and to allow us to easily extend the functionality for additional applications when required.
Databridge can be configured to connect with virtually any database system, including SQL and ODBC compatible databases, with some common integrations being listed below.
The DataBridge software has also been customised to perform custom tasks that can include picking up files from specific locations, and transferring that data to a designated system. In addition, DataBridge has also been configured to transfer information between other bespoke websites and applications, ensuring we can help you streamline your systems, regardless of your chosen platform. Solweb are proud to represent one of the many digital companies that have helped place Bournemouth on the map! According to the Tech Nation Report for 2015, Bournemouth has become the fastest growing city for digital companies and the digital sector has increased by 212% between 2010 and 2013. An incredible figure which explains why more and more businesses are turning to Dorset based IT firms for their expertise and experience in handling their E-Commerce needs.
We are in the mobile age of web design, and it’s no longer an option to simply have a website and expect the traffic to come your way. Social media has already broken down walls between businesses and their customers, but the way in which people interact has also evolved. It wasn’t too long ago that we would access our websites of choice purely on our home computers or laptop, but not most people will use their smart phones to check out information whilst on the move.
